Project Overview
Located on the 4th floor of a commercial building on Maiden Lane in New York’s Financial District, this 1,500 sq. ft. nail salon was documented as part of DCMS’s third complete as-built survey for the brand. The suite offers street-facing views and required detailed capture of stairs, pipes, ventilation, and electrical fixtures to support its renovation. Using advanced LiDAR scanning with Matterport Pro3, our team ensured dimensional precision for layouts, elevations, and technical documentation.

Our Role & Technology
DCMS executed a full scan-to-BIM workflow with Matterport Pro3 LiDAR scanning, capturing architectural, structural, and MEP systems with clarity. The outputs supported coordination of technical services and interior design planning.
Developed an LOD 300 Revit 2024 model including all utilities, stairs, and fixtures
Produced dimensioned PDF layouts and sections with dual measurement units
Delivered a 360° digital twin and CAD outputs for multi-phase design workflows
