Project Overview
Located in Manhattan’s vibrant Flatiron District, this 1,673 sq. ft. space spans a ground floor and basement, designed to house a nail salon with an industrial-inspired aesthetic. Exposed beams, visible HVAC systems, and suspended lighting define the raw character of the unit, which was surveyed to capture existing conditions ahead of its transformation. DCMS documented both levels to support design coordination, system layout planning, and accurate integration of architectural and MEP features for the upcoming renovation.

Our Role & Technology
To support future fit-out and design development, DCMS captured and modeled the entire space using LiDAR-enhanced scanning and BIM tools. The digital outputs allow the client to evaluate structural and system configurations before renovation.
Scanned and modeled both levels, documenting walls, partitions, and structural framing
Mapped ceiling systems including HVAC ducts, suspended lighting, and piping with accuracy
Delivered Revit and AutoCAD drawings aligned with retail standards for design coordination
