Project Overview
As part of our ongoing collaboration with James Perse retail stores, DCMS was engaged to document a two-story commercial property with a basement, located at 32 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, one of Paris’ most iconic shopping streets. Despite visible interior deterioration, our objective was to deliver an accurate, data-rich digital replica to support future renovations in alignment with the architect’s vision.

Our Role & Technology
Our team leveraged advanced LiDAR scanning systems and BIM methodologies to digitally capture and model the property with high spatial accuracy while maintaining architectural fidelity.
High-resolution terrestrial LiDAR scanning for full interior and basement coverage
LOD 300 BIM modeling executed in Autodesk Revit
Digital clean-up and parametric reconstruction of deteriorated architectural elements.
Key Challenges & Solutions
Surface Irregularities: Aged and uneven finishes were digitally regularized for accurate modeling and integration into new design workflows.
Geometric Complexity: Non-orthogonal layouts and curved ceiling conditions required custom geometry and manual detailing.
Exposed Structure: Steel framing and infrastructure were fully modeled to support coordination for upcoming interior renovations.
