Project Overview
DCMS conducted a high-precision 3D laser scan and 360° virtual tour of a private residence in The Falls / East Kendall, a well-connected area near Miami Dade College and The Falls shopping center. The scan captured interior and exterior elements, including the pool, patio, garage, and terrace, with millimetric accuracy. The digital documentation supports renovation planning, spatial coordination, and architectural design through a high-density point cloud and detailed visual record.

Key Challenges & Solutions
Outdoor Capture Conditions: Open-air spaces and direct sunlight were managed through strategic scan timing and scanner positioning.
Surface Clarity: Smooth reflective surfaces such as pool water and polished finishes required multiple scan angles to ensure precision.
Site Integration: The digital model served as a foundation for coordinating outdoor renovation efforts with existing structural components.
