Located in Miami’s Morningside area, this 2,740 sq. ft. single-level residence integrates indoor comfort with outdoor living through its garden, terrace, and pool. The property features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, social rooms, and a garage, blending modern design with functional family spaces. DCMS was tasked with capturing precise architectural conditions to deliver a complete as-built model, serving as a reliable foundation for renovation and design coordination.

Our Role & Technology
DCMS developed the full architectural model in Revit using laser measurements taken on-site by a field technician. These measurements served as the basis for CAD files, later transformed into a coordinated BIM model.
Created precise 3D modeling of walls, windows, ceilings, and exterior structures
Integrated roof and terrace details to support accurate spatial representation
Produced a complete photo record mapping each interior and exterior space for design reference
Key Challenges & Solutions
Reliance on manual laser survey: Addressed by cross-checking CAD baselines with field data for accuracy
Complex indoor-outdoor integration: Modeled terraces and pool with contextual elements to capture design intent
Need for full design-ready outputs: Deliverables were standardized in Revit and AutoCAD to align with BIM workflows
