Project Overview
Set in Dallas’ Preston Hollow, this 4,635 sq. ft. single-story residence features a blend of granite, steel, and custom woodwork framed by expansive windows that bring in natural light. DCMS performed a full LiDAR-based survey to document the property’s structural and architectural conditions, both inside and out. The resulting digital twin captures unique finishes, surrounding vegetation, and existing MEP systems to guide renovation planning with precision.

Our Role & Technology
DCMS used Matterport Pro3 LiDAR scanning to capture the home’s architectural and site conditions with exceptional clarity. The point cloud served as the basis for a highly detailed as-built model, supporting accurate design integration and renovation planning.
Generated a LOD 300 Revit model from laser data for precise coordination
Modeled materials including granite, wood, and exposed brick in detail
Mapped lighting, audio, and security systems for technical integration
