Project Overview
DCMS was commissioned to deliver high-precision as-built documentation for this multi-level retail building located on S Miami Avenue, totaling approximately 162,500 sq. ft, including a 4-level parkade. The objective was to provide the client and their facade team with accurate base documentation to support glass system design, renovation planning, and core & shell BIM coordination.
Deliverables
Colored and Registered LiDAR Scans: In RCP format
Core & Shell As-Built Revit Model: Covering structure and envelope
Slab Floorplans: For each level, including garage floors
Exterior Elevations in AutoCAD: All building sides for the glass provider
Our Role & Technology
To ensure dimensional accuracy and deliver both 2D and 3D documentation, our team executed a full terrestrial LiDAR survey and processed the spatial data into clean BIM and CAD outputs.
Key tools included:
Terrestrial LiDAR scanning with Leica RTC360 for millimeter-level accuracy
LOD 200 Core & Shell Revit modeling for spatial coordination and base design
AutoCAD Elevations extracted from Revit for facade and glass detailing
