COMMERCIAL WAREHOUSE IN NORTH MIAMI
Miami, Florida
15,000 sq.ft.
May 23- Jun 3 l 2025
As-Built Plans
Project Overview
DCMS conducted a 3D architectural survey of a 15,000-square-foot commercial warehouse in North Miami’s industrial corridor. The project aimed to support future space reconfiguration and operational planning by capturing detailed spatial layouts, access points, and circulation pathways. The site’s proximity to key logistics routes in Miami-Dade County made it crucial to map entry zones, vehicle flows, and structural divisions with precision.
Deliverables
High-Density LiDAR Point Cloud Data
As-Built Site Plan, Floor Plan & Ceiling Plan
CAD & PDF Documentation Packages
Spatial Analysis for Circulation and Access

Our Role & Technology
DCMS deployed a complete reality capture workflow using terrestrial LiDAR technology and CAD documentation tools.
Scanned and documented architectural conditions of both the warehouse interior and perimeter site areas
Produced site and ceiling plans highlighting loading docks, lighting grids, and HVAC zones
Provided CAD-ready outputs aligned to client requirements for design, permitting, and adaptive reuse
Key Challenges & Solutions
Vehicle Access Mapping: Captured accurate dimensions of entry points and turning radii for logistics planning
Ceiling System Complexity: Ensured correct alignment of lighting, HVAC ducts, and sprinkler systems in 2D outputs
Large Site Coordination: Used phased scanning to manage scale and ensure full coverage without data gaps
