DCMS conducted a comprehensive as-built exterior elevation survey for Douglas Hospital, a key healthcare institution in Quebec. This heritage restoration project, commissioned by the Government of Quebec and GR7 Architecture, required high-accuracy documentation of over 85 building elevations to guide the restoration process while preserving the architectural integrity of the hospital’s historic facades.

Notre rôle et notre technologie
We used terrestrial 3D laser scanning and drone photogrammetry to map the entire hospital’s exterior with millimeter precision. Our team delivered a full set of elevation drawings, orthophotos, and thermal reports to support design and conservation decisions. Tools used:
Leica RTC360 for terrestrial LiDAR.
DJI Phantom 4 RTK for aerial mapping,
Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD for detailed documentation and analysis.
