As one of the primary administrative centers in the Hudson Valley region, this 565,308 sq. ft. state office complex in Poughkeepsie, New York required comprehensive documentation. The project demanded precise architectural documentation and site modeling to support renovation planning, including detailed interior layouts, complete façade elevations, and extensive topographic representation of the surrounding parking facilities and landscaped zones. The comprehensive nature of the documentation was essential to ensure accurate renovation designs that would maintain the building's functionality.

Notre rôle et notre technologie

DCMS developed the as-built model in Revit, supported by point cloud data for millimeter-level accuracy. The workflow combined laser-based scanning with topographic processing to deliver consistent and detailed documentation.

Modeled architectural walls, windows, and roofs with precise coordination across all elevations

Created a Civil 3D-based topography from processed point cloud data, later refined in Revit

Produced CAD outputs including floor plans, façade elevations, and contour line drawings
